The 15 Steps of Locked Room Games- Harry Potter Edition

If you read Monday’s blog, you’ll know I did a Locked Room game at the weekend. Hosted by Enigma Quests, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is incredible. I guess you could say it was…quite a magical experience…

Awful puns aside, it proved to be a lot of fun. Particularly fun for me, because while I love other Harry Potter spin off games, I’m not massively good at them. Like Quidditch: looks awesome, but it’s hardcore!

So much so that I thought I’d mark the occasion by doing a little guide to other Locked Room newbies about what awaits you behind the locked door…specifically a Harry Potter one…and no, you can’t just alohamora it…

…we tried that…

1) You see there’s a Locked Room game. And it’s Harry Potter themed.

2) You feel pretty confident: you got this. It’s mental agility, not sports…fortunately…

9) You suggest a solution. Your friends look at you like you’re a muggle or something…

11) This proves short lived. You’re confused once more. This time…Potions…

12) Forunately, a disembodied voice of the gamesmaster helps you. Bit creepy though.

13) You ask for help…again…and again…you and the task master are basically best buds now.

14) Time is running out…and there’s no Time Turner in sight!

And you can’t wait to do another one.

Or see Cursed Child.

Or Fantastic Beasts.

It’s a good year for Harry Potter!
