R.I.P. Grandpa

It’s been a difficult time recently, following the sudden death of my Grandpa. He was a wonderful man: warm, kind and funny, he had a smile on his face and could always bring one to your’s too. He found real joy with my Gran and loved his family so very much. He was always very supportive of me in every aspect of my life, including theatre. I’d see him every week and he’d always ask eagerly what shows I’d been to see. You try explaining the plot of Rocky Horror to an 88 year old! But he’d always listen just as eagerly, smile on his face and I can still hear the joy in his voice: ‘Great, just great!’

He was a big part of my life and I will miss him so much.

Now they’ll walk on my arm through the distant night,

And I won’t let them stray from my heart.
